Love is not Prejudice

1 John 4:7-16 shows us that when we believe in God, we will love others the way that He does.

To love others more deeply, you must deepen your relationship with God.

The fruit of love is revival, healing, restoration, hope. Everyone in this world is looking for love, but if you look for love in the wrong places, you won’t be satisfied. When love is full of self, it is not a satisfying kind of love.

1 John 4:14-21 and Romans 12:9-21 show us that to love is to hate evil, to love good, to give preference to others by sacrificing your own desires, to serve God, to help others, to give, to bless, to empathize with others, to be humble, to be at peace with others and to not repay injustices.

Philippians 2:2-3
fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Fear, insecurity, and pride is at the root of prejudice. Fear is the opposite of love (1 John 4:18). There is no love in those who are prejudiced.

John 8:32
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

God wants everyone to be free. He wants us to be free from sin, free from fear, free from pride, free from prejudice.

If you don’t have love, you don’t have anything.

God bless you,
