Faith means trust in God. Faith means that you believe all of His Word. Faith means you wait on God’s promises to be fulfilled. Abraham was a man of faith because he waited on God.
God has given us so many promises in His Word. He has promised His protection for His children. We don’t need to fear. Psalm 91 shows us that if we abide in the shelter of the Almighty, in His secret place, that we don’t need to fear.
Psalm 91:1-2
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
We must apply this scripture to our lives, to our family, to our ministry, to our church, to our city, to our nation.
COVID-19 is not killing as many people as fear is. Fear is not from God. God wants to give you peace and understanding.
Sometimes bad things happen, but God turns around everything for His glory. In the Lord, we cannot lose. If we live, we have the chance to serve Him. If we die, we have the chance to be with Him. Either way, we gain. Either way, we win in the Lord.
Those who have little faith will start well, but they will not end well. Those who have little faith will drown in trial. We must have big faith.
Faith is future. Faith is worship. Faith is waiting. But faith always leaves evidence.
Faith does not always stay with us. The Bible shows us that we can lose faith.
1 Timothy 6:10
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 4:1
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
We must take care of faith and cultivate it. We must remain in faith and cause it to grow through studying the Word. As we study the Word, we will find true faith.
Come to Jesus. He will help you and give you hope and faith and everlasting life.
