God wants you to prosper and here’s the key

To live a prosperous life, we need to know God’s Word. People struggle because they don’t know the Word of God, the scriptures. When you don’t know the scriptures, you think about God your own way, the traditional way. But God wants us to know Him the way that His scripture reveal Him.

Proverbs 10:22
22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.

God wants to give His children good things.

To do the work of the kingdom of God, we need three things:
1. The anointing of God, the Holy Spirit
2. People to work together
3. Money

To build God’s kingdom, we need anointing and people. But we also need money. If you don’t have money, it’s very difficult to do the work of God. It is important to give offerings and tithes to your storehouse. God wants His children to prosper. But prosperity comes after giving. When you keep this commandment of God, your obedience opens the windows of heaven.

When God prospers us, that prosperity comes with joy. Now this is not evil gain. Evil gain comes with sorrow, through sin. But when God prospers you, it will come with joy. The money that comes from God will come with joy. There will be no fear or guilt in it.

Before God can prosper us, we must have right understanding. When God blesses us with clothes or a car or a nice house, He is very happy. When we bless our children with something that they need or want, we are happy. We are just human. When God gives to us, He is very happy as well. But if our children have an ungrateful heart, that makes us sad. So, we must have right understanding with the blessings of God so that we can have a grateful heart and God can be pleased to bless us.

In order for God to bless us, we must have a clean, good, mature mind.

If you were to give $1,000 to a 9-year old, what would they do with it? Probably buy a bunch of Legos and junk food. You wouldn’t give that much money to a young child because they don’t know how to handle it. God is the same way. He is waiting for our minds to mature, so that we can handle the blessing that He has for us.

3 John 1:2
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

God wants our souls to prosper – have good discernment, know the will of God, know how God wants you to use the money that He gives you. If you don’t know how God wants you to spend the money that He gives you, you will waste it and use it foolishly.

“Health” in this verse is divine health. Divine health destroys every disease in your body. That is what God wants for you. This is not talking about people laying hands on you and you getting healed. This is divine health. When Jesus was on earth, He didn’t get sick. That is what God wants for us. We need to pray for divine health.

If you prosper before you have understanding of the will of God, you will make foolish choices.

This world doesn’t know how to handle money so they sin with that money and go to hell. Money is a stumbling block to them. Money enables them to sin. God wants us to use money wisely, the way that He wants us to use it so that we can walk in spiritual and physical prosperity.

How does God want you to spend money? How does God want you to us the money that He gives you? That is what you need to know before He will bless you. There is so much that God wants to give to us, but we suffer because of a lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.

If you don’t want to perish, you must understand the will of God for your spirit. If you don’t want to suffer lack, you must understand the will of God for your finances. That is the key to opening the windows of heaven in your life. That is the key to walking in prosperity.

God bless you,
