Overcome through spiritual battle

Satan will come to attack you through your flesh and temptation to sin.

What do we need to overcome?
#2 Satan

Matthew 12:28
28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

1 Peter 5:8-9
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

If you don’t overcome Satan you will not have joy to live life or to serve God. You will feel depressed and sad and heavy. Submit to God and then resist the devil. When you do this, you will overcome. When you realize that Satan is tormenting you or trying to come against you, cast the devil out. Then you will overcome.

Satan wants Christians to fail. He wants churches to fail. He wants the children of God to turn against Him. Satan worshippers pray for pastors and churches to compromise with this world. Satan wants God’s people to compromise and fail. That is why we must hate all evil. That is why we must be black and white. That is why we must be separate from this world.

According to Acts 5, Satan manifested through Ananias and Sapphira. They tried to deceive Peter and died. We cannot deceive God. We cannot deceive the Holy Spirit. God sees everything that you do and think and say. We must keep our hearts pure and holy and good. We must have a good conscience.

Cast out Satan in the name of Jesus.

Satan came to King David and put doubt into his heart. David should have trusted God but he decided to count the population of Israel. God was not pleased with this. God was going to judge all Israel but showed grace.

In the beginning, Satan came to Adam and Eve and seduced them to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Afterward, they lost everything.

Satan came to Cain and stirred up his heart against his brother, Abel. (1 John 3:12)

Satan came to Judas, who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. In Job 1, Satan destroyed his health, his finances, and his family. But Job overcame and did not betray God. In the end, God blessed him abundantly, even more than at his beginning.

When we go through a trial, how do we act? That is the key.
If we trust God, we will go through that trial quickly and be blessed in the end. God will step in and intercede on our behalf when we praise Him and are loyal to Him. If we complain and come against God, we will stay in that trial for a long time and suffer loss.

We need to surrender to God everyday. We need to show God that he is in charge, that we love Him and trust Him no matter what. When you make that commitment to God and continue to walk with Him, you will come out of that trial quickly. The solution for your situation: give thanks to God. Accept that God is in charge, that He has allowed something to happen in your life for a short time, but that He will make everything right. Accept God’s will in your life. Accept your destiny. But remind God of His promises. Remind Him of His Word. Pray His Word over your life and your situation and your trial.

We must fight the spiritual fight to win the battle.

When you fight against Satan, he will move back. But when you don’t resist him, he will come against you stronger. You think you are scared? He is more scared. Why? You have the Spirit of God on your side. Satan is scared of God. He is scared of the Spirit of God in your life.

God did not make us to fail. We are overcomers in Him. The problem is that when you fight the battle, you want glory for yourself. We must fight the good fight to die to our flesh, not to gain this world. We must fight to give up ourselves. We must fight the good fight to become like Jesus.

There is no reward on earth for fighting the good fight. But there is reward in heaven so continue to fight to the end.

God bless you,
Pastor Sun East
