Revelation 16:10-12

10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.

If we fight with God, we will lose. The Antichrist will not defeat God.

Revelation 16:10 says that the angel poured out his bowl on the beast. This is the first time during the tribulation that God poured judgment directly on the Antichrist. They will not gnaw their tongues because of the darkness, but because of the pain. The ninth plague in Egypt was a plague of darkness. (Exodus 10:21-23)

History always repeats itself. They were surrounded by darkness in Egypt, but they still refused to turn to God. This world does not like the light. They like the darkness, where they can hide their sin and do whatever they want to. They forget, however, that this life will pass away and they will have an everlasting place in either heaven or hell. We must not choose the temporal over the eternal. We should not desire the darkness of this world but the light of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the light. We are children of light. We are light because Jesus lives in us.

God bless you!
