If America will turn to God today, He will forgive us. He will wash our sin and put it into the sea of forgetfulness. He will not remember it. This great nation is losing power because it has turned away from God. God prospered this country because of their desire to please Him, because of their desire to worship Him freely. But now this nation is turning away from God. That is why this nation is struggling financially.
But people love evil more than God. People love sin. You cannot have friendship with this world. If you are friends with this world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
In the book of Jonah we see that God forgave Nineveh and gave them a second chance. In the book of Revelation we see that God is continually giving people a second chance to turn to Him. His desire is for His creation to turn back to Him.
Revelation 16:8-9
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.
The first bowl judgment was sores. The second was upon the oceans, turning them to blood. The third is upon the seas. The fourth bowl judgment turns the sun into scorching heat.
When people refuse to repent and surrender to God, He will use the sun to judge them.
2 Peter 3:10
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
In the last days, the sun will be very hot and animal, humans, and nature will die. God has warned us ahead of time.
The fourth bowl judgment is that people will be scorched with fire.
