Revelation chapter 16, part 7

In 1 Samuel 8:5-9, the people of Israel asked for a king. Sometimes we ask for the wrong things and they will cause us lots of trouble. Israel wanted a king so God gave them a king, but their king was not really a blessing to them. Sometimes we pray for our trials. We don’t think that they are trials at first, but they are. God allows them because we are insistent that we want them. We think that it will be a blessing for us, but it turns out to be a trial. Those things can be avoided if we obey God and trust Him.

We need to plant good seeds every day. You will reap what you sow. Sow good seeds into your life. Sow seeds of obedience, love, and serving. Don’t sow seeds of strife, lying, hatred, or perversion. God will allow people to go to hell, by the choice.

Those who reject Jesus will experience the plagues of Revelation 16. They will experience plagues of sores. They seas and rivers will turn to blood. They will suffer pain, hunger, thirst, uncleanness.

Johnn 3:1-3 shows us that we must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. If you are not born again and you die, you will go to hell. Nicodemus was a Pharisee. He knew the Old Testament and lived according to the law. But he didn’t have a relationship with Jesus. He didn’t know Jesus in his heart; he only lived by the law. If you do not know Jesus in your heart, you will not make it to heaven. You must believe in your heart and confess with your lips that Jesus has been raised from the dead.

Revelation 16:7 says, “And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

This altar is mentioned in the Bible, in Revelation 6:9-10. Those who are martyred for Jesus praise God for His judgment of justice. Those who are martyred during the time of tribulation will wait for judgment. This world needs just judgment. This world needs to repent before God and receive the Holy Spirit.

God will give the angels authority to do these things, to bring these plagues as judgment. We are waiting for judgment, even this day. People curse God and come against God’s people every day, even now. We are waiting for judgment, too.

We have the obligation to tell people about Jesus. We have the obligation to save the souls and help them find a better life. Jesus came and died 2,000 years ago to give people a better life, to break the chains of bondage in our lives and enable us to live freely in Him.

Don’t look back. Don’t look back. God is in charge of everything. He is a big God. Don’t look back. If you want to be successful, put God in your life. Be like every mighty man or woman of God in the Bible. Put God first. Don’t look back at your mistakes and torment yourself with them. Just move forward.

God bless you!

  1. We DO need to plant good seeds every day. I know that I do not want to be paying a price later for my laziness now.

  2. I appreciate your words about “not looking back”!!! Thank you, I know that God can take care of my past mistakes, I need to just continue to trust Him in this and not have weak moments where I worry and allow pain to start.

  3. I can see, from my own life, that I need to stay very present to keep my joy and true connection with God. I must put God first and not allow myself to look back and be tormented with regret.

  4. It is difficult to talk about “judgement” in today’s society. People feel so justified in their sin…I don’t want to be like that, I want to have a tender heart towards the Lord and be repentant.
