Revelation chapter 16, part 4

During the time of the tribulation, people’s hearts will become very cold. They will continually reject God.

Revelation 16:3 says Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.” The sea is symbolic of Gentiles and Gentile nations. The first bowl judged the kingdom of the antichrist. The second will judge those who are faithful to the antichrist.

God will curse the sea and people will suffer. At this point, a third of the fish are already dead (from a previous judgment). Now the sea will be turned to blood.

It’s time to know the truth of what the Word of God says. The Bible says that if we follow Jesus, that He will make us the head and not the tail. If we obey God, He will lift us up.

Whatever happens in your life is your choice. You have to make the choice. Jesus is not going to make the choice for you. He gave you His Word and instructed you to go to church to hear His message. It’s our choice. Do you want to be successful? Do you want to be a failure? It’s all your choice.

A lot of people have a dream to be successful, but they don’t follow the principles that will make them successful. For example, many women want a loving, spiritual husband. But are they the kind of woman that will attract that kind of man? To have a godly husband, you must become a godly woman first. It’s your choice. You must make the kinds of choices in your life that will bring success. You must choose to follow the principles of the Word of God. You must obey God’s commandments and follow His direction in order to have the successful life that He has planned for you. If you follow God, you will have a glorious life and good ending. Success, victory, love, peace, security…all of these things come from God.

If you follow the plans of Satan for your life, you may see some success or some victory, but these will only last for a short time. You will pay the price in the end. If you do things your own way and ignore God’s plan for your life, then you may experience some happiness and peace, but they will be short-lived. Choose God’s way. Choose God’s plans for your life.

God will curse the sea and people will suffer. At this point, a third of the fish are already dead (Revelation 8:8-9). Now the sea will be turned to blood.

In the time of tribulation, there will be no rest, peace, or joy. The sea is not a blessing to people during the time of tribulation. God also judged the waters in the time of Moses (Exodus 7:17-19).

In Genesis 6, when God destroyed the whole earth, He gave them grace. He didn’t destroy the fish (Genesis 6:13-22). But in the tribulation, God will destroy all of the fish. In the time of Noah, God protected the fish. He wanted people to multiply after the flood. But in the time of Revelation, this world will end. There will be no more grace.

God bless you!

  1. I agree that the success we see, while outside of God’s kingdom, is very “short lived”!

  2. The only things that last are those that are of God. We must work and live in today’s society, but we must not be “affected” by it. We must remain free of that “pull” of our flesh… she should not have to separate ourselves physically from all people, we need to be close enough to Jesus, that while in the midst of the world, our heart longs for Him and not for what surrounds us.
