Revelation chapter 15, part 3

When Israel left Egypt and traveled through the wilderness, they had the Ark of the Covenant. In Revelation 15:5 it says that this Ark was opened. This means that God will do what He has said He will do. He is holy and just. His kingdom is established in holiness and justice.

Revelation 15:6 talks about angels, who have permission to judge the earth. God will give the angels permission to judge the earth during the time of the tribulation. These angels come from the throne, bringing the saint’s prayer answers.

“Clothed in pure bright linen” has several meanings. High priests were dressed this way. This represents God’s authority. Kings were also dressed this way. The bride of Jesus is also clothed this way. “Clothed in pure bright linen” means sent from heaven. (Mark 16:5, Matthew 28:3)

Revelation 15:7 talks about one of the four living creatures from Revelation 4:7. The first creature is like a lion. The second is like a calf. The third like a man. The fourth like an eagle. These are strong, brave, bold, and intelligent. They all have assignments and gifts.

Revelation 15:8 says that the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God. The seven bowls used to be filled with the prayer requests of the saints, but now the wrath of God.

Smoke from the glory of God and from His power is symbolic of the prayers of the saints. Revelation 8:4 shows us that there is a time when the prayers of the saints will come up before God, but there will be a time when the prayers of the saints will not come before God. We are under a time of grace, when God will answer our prayers. Angels will bring the answers to our prayers. Right now when we pray, our prayers will go up before God. But a time will come when the prayers of the saints will be blocked; they will not come up before God and they will no longer be heard. Instead, the smoke in the temple will be the wrath of God.

When we pray, Satan will flee from us by the power of the blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus. We must pray. We must diligently pray, from our hearts. Then Satan will flee from us. Prayer is spiritual warfare.

God bless you!

  1. Thank you for this powerful post on the subject of prayer! I have just recently begun a morning routine of praying on my knees. I’m only in my 6th week of doing this and am already seeing changes in my finances, living arrangement and my job. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to try it!
