Revelation chapter 14, part 8

In Revelation 14:14, the golden crown is a crown of glory. Jesus is wearing a crown of glory. He is the conqueror of the whole world. He is the only ruler, the King of Kings. He is everything. He is resurrection power. Jesus died for us, then resurrected from the dead. How can we challenge His love for us?

In John 11:25-26, Jesus asks “Do you believe this?” Do you believe that Jesus is the resurrection? Do you believe that He is the only way that we will make it to heaven? Jesus died for us, then resurrected from the dead. If He had never resurrected, we wouldn’t have to serve Him, but He is the only one who has come back from the dead.

Revelation 19:11-15 describes Jesus as the everlasting ruler, reigning forever and ever. Jesus allowed the enemy to put a crown of thorns on His head. He never hated them for this, but loved them all the way to the end of His live. (Matthew 27:29-31) Through this action of love, Jesus earned a crown of glory. Crowns are for those who are overcomers. Jesus overcame everything. When you get to heaven, you will also receive a crown. There are many types of crowns.

In Revelation 14:14-16, we see that Jesus has a sharp sickle in His hand. The sickle is used for harvesting grain. Jesus will harvest the souls. This is the last harvest from the preaching of the 144,000 and the two witnesses. A second harvest is the gathering of the unbelievers for judgment. This is the last judgment for unbelievers. You don’t want to go through this judgment. After this judgment will be the war of Armageddon.

Revelation 6:9-11 tells us about those who are martyred for Jesus cry to Him with a loud voice, crying out for justice and judgment on those who killed them. In Revelation 14:15, the angel says that it was time for the earth to be reaped.

Matthew 13:37-43 tells about tares and wheat. The earth is like a place of planting. Good and evil has been planted on the earth. Harvest time is coming, where both the tares and the wheat will be harvested.

In the last days, God will use angels to preach the message of judgment. The angels are working together with the Father and the Son. The Son of Man, Jesus, will send out His angels. Angels can take many forms. Sometimes they will look rich, sometimes poor. When you feed the hungry, you may be entertaining angels. When you take care of a homeless person, you may be entertaining an angel. Angels are spirits and most of the time, you cannot see them. They are always around you, watching everything that you are doing and taking record of what you are doing. But sometimes, you will be able to see them and God will test you to see how you treat them.

God will separate the good and the evil (the tares and the wheat). In the meantime, He will let them grow together. This is why we see so much evil in the world. This is why drugs have been legalized and drinking is so prevalent. Satan is slowly taking over society with sin and immorality. Ungodly people are taking over political offices. Churches are afraid to educate their congregation and encourage their congregation vote for godly leaders. Churches are afraid to speak the truth to their congregations. In the time of judgment, God will destroy all wicked and evil. But not yet. Revelation 14:16 shows us that in the time of judgment, God will carefully gather His children and protect them. God will save all those who desire to be saved.

God bless you!

  1. I actually used to wonder what that verse meant. I didn’t realize that people who didn’t love Jesus would take the time to go to church every Sunday or be involved in ministry. (once I figured that one out, it made a lot more sense!) I have to make sure I am serving, loving and following Him too, or I will be in the same category!
