Revelation chapter 13, part 4

In Daniel 7:5, Daniel saw a bear, raised up on one side, with three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. When Daniel had this dream, this was something that would happen in the future. The bear represented the kingdom that would take over Babylon. This is the nation of the Medes and Persians. They were like a bear, stable and strong. They were not deterred by anything. They attacked without concern for the consequence. They did not regard humanity, but attacked and destroyed.

“Raised up on one side” means that Persia came later, but was stronger than Media. “Three ribs” is symbolic of three nations that they would conquer: Libya, Egypt, and Babylon. “Devour much” means that God gave them permission to devour the nations. God will not just watch an evil nation; sooner or later He will bring judgment. God will not watch evil forever. He will bring judgment. He will give warnings, but if they don’t repent, God will judge them.

In Daniel 7:6-7, the fourth beast was very strong, with teeth of iron. This beast is symbolic of Rome, which rose up in 30 B.C. and conquered many nations. The fourth beast had horns, symbolic of authority. Psalm 18:2, Deuteronomy 33:17, and 1 Kings 22:11 talk about horns. One horn is symbolic of a lot of authority, but the fourth beast has 10 horns.

The little horn had human eyes, a mouth to speak, and took out three of the other horns from the root. What is this horn? The antichrist, who will come against God and persecute Christians for 3.5 years. He will be destroyed at the end of that time, but God will allow him to have authority for that season of time. This world will be upside down during those 3.5 years. It will be a terrible nightmare. You do not want to be there.

You cannot serve both Satan and God. You must choose to serve God alone. If you continually hold on to sin and evil, if you continually hold on to Satan, you will bring God’s judgment to your life. God shows us about hell and heaven, He gives us warnings so that we can repent. God does not want His people to go to hell. God does not want His people to suffer. But sin has a price.

Your job is to tell those around you the truth about heaven and hell. You must speak the truth to your family, to your coworkers, to your neighbors, to those who you meet. Tell them about hell, so that they can change and not go there.

Use all of your talents and gifts to serve God. We are in the end times. The things that are coming in the tribulation are terrifying. If you can’t serve God during this time of peace, how do you think that you will survive during the tribulation. If you can’t make it here, what makes you think you can make it there. It will be very difficult to survive during the tribulation. If you have a hard time dying to your flesh to serve God now, what makes you think that you will be able to die to your flesh during the tribulation?

Why is God warning us about this time now? This time is coming sooner than you think. God wants to prepare His people to hear the sound of the trumpet, to have a godly life. The most important thing in our lives must be having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Talk with Him as though He is next to you. Talk with Him all the time.

God bless you!

  1. I’m re-reading Revelation because of your teachings Pastor Sun Hui East, thank you so much.

  2. I know the Lord is warning us… He wants us to be prepared. He wants us to let others know about His love and salvation during this un-settled time.

  3. I need to be diligent in prayer to keep myself telling other people about the Lord on a daily basis… where would I be with out Him, I must have constant compassion on those who don’t know Him! I appreciate your strong teaching on spreading the Gospel Pastor Sun Hui East, I believe it is paramount to the Lord!

  4. I would be arrogant to assume we could “make it” on our own… help me Lord, help me see my own weakness Great post Pastor Sun Hui East

  5. Comparing this type of Christian teaching gives the world a more clear perspective of right and wrong (something usually very vague and unspoken). Good stuff Pastor Sun Hui East.
