Happy Mother’s Day!
Today, the Holy Spirit wants to remind us that a mother’s prayers are very powerful. God has given mothers a lot of power to affect, influence, and help their husbands and children.
We need to examine our hearts: how much time do we give to God in prayer? Do we give our children to God? Or do we hold on to them (holding them back from God)?
We need to be like Hannah, to release our children into God’s hand so that He can change them, mold them, and make them more like Him. We have to accept the fact that our children are selfish. They are not sensitive to their parent’s needs. They are focused on themselves; that is human nature. It is OK. We must accept that and know that we are here to give. Give your prayers. Give your time. Give your energy. Give your prayers. If you hold on to your children and expect something from them, they will only hurt you. So, do not expect anything from your children. Give to them freely, as God has given to you.
Luke 2:36-38 talks about Anna, a powerful prayer warrior and woman of God. Anna’s heart was always with the temple of God. This is where our hearts need to be as well. We should always long for the temple of God, the house of God, the presence of God.
Many women go after the things of this world, things like money or relationships. When things don’t work out, they think that God is not listening to their prayers and has forsaken them. But God will not listen to selfish, manipulative, or nagging prayers. We need to come to the place where we have no desire with the things of this world, where our only desire is to be in the presence of God. When we come to that place, we will see the Savior face to face, like Anna did.
In 1 Samuel 1:10-28, we see that Hannah cried out to God for a son and received His promise. Then, over and over again it says “God remembered Hannah”. God will not go back on His Word. We must remind Him of His promises in our lives. As parents, we must remind God of His promises in our children.
If you want to see your children succeed in the Lord, you must pray for them. Be a good example to them. Show your children how to serve God by your own example. Then you will be greatly blessed.
I pray that God would use the mother’s of this nation powerfully, to raise up this next generation to serve God and bring holiness and purity back to this nation. I pray that God would bless all of you mothers mightily.

I never tire of hearing the message about Hannah and how she cried out to God for a son. I need the reminding that our prayers are powerful and not to give up. At times, children can have challenges that seem overwhelming, but God is faithful. Releasing my children to God is freeing because it puts my kids in the hands of one more powerful than me. God knows what my children need. Goodness, he made them. I need to trust the one who loves them more than I do.

I greatly appriciate the wisdom that was used in this teaching. I believe that The Lord spoke this to the heart of Pastor East. True love is never exercised with expectations. Truth.
It always amazes me how a mother’s love for her children can bring such encouragement and inspiration to a child’s life. I am inspired by Hannah’s example, not only her willingness to keep the promise she made to God, but she did it with such a grateful heart. Her burning desire was to see her son Samuel follow God’s voice, making him one of the most famous characters in the Bible. I am certain that his mother’s prayers and influence helped keep him walking on such an upright path.

Hallelujah! I Thank Jesus for you, being the Godly example in showing forth Agape Love- Thank you for the sacrifices you make in daily living for souls to be saved through prayer and studying the word of God. Through your experiences in the Holy Spirit you teach the truth in which everyone can learn from. I know you are chosen woman of God, who Truly Loves not just your natural children, but all the children of God. This is going to blow your mind as it keeps happening not just this one lesson but continually. The same lesson of-“Hannah trusting in God with her children and letting them go. God fullfilled his word within the Children of Hannah.” this same message was brought forth in todays morning service through Pastor Bob Patterson. A lesson learned for me in releasing all my children and grandchildren into the mighty hands of God. God can do what I can not do for them. Jesus will give them Salvation,Deliverance, Healing, Holy Spirit, and Eternal Life, All because of TRUE LOVE. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through you. Jesus Loves You and so do I, Pastor Sun East!

It is crazy how people go in to the world, they leave God and when things do not workout well for then they complain and get angry with God for allowing that to happenhappen.
God wants to bless us but we can curse our own lives by our own choices.
This message tells the truth of God’s Word, it is not just a feel good message. Thank God for preachers like Pastor Sun that are willing to speak the truth.
I’m so thankful for the way God uses Pastor Sun to deliver His message to us. Hannah was a godly woman who truly taught and showed her son how to fully give his life to God. Even as she went back year after year to give him new clothes, she never changed her mind and decided to take him home with her. Once she gave him to God, she truly let him go and trusted that God would use him.
A mother’s desperate prayers are very powerful. If my own mother had not desperately prayed for me, I would not have made the decision to give my life to Jesus, and I think I would have died at a young age. I thank God for all praying mothers, and encourage every mother to desperately pray for your children. God bless you.

Bible based and filled with God’s anointing, I had never heard a Mother’s Day message like this one.
Praying mother’s are women who ask of God to do what they cannot do. No one can change a person that is the work of the Holy Spirit. When we pray for our children we go to someone we can put our trust in one hundred percent. As we place our children into His hands we too must release our own expectation of how God will work. As mothers we continue to learn how to lean not on our own understanding and put our trust in Him. Thank you Pastor Sun for encouraging women to take their Spiritual role in the family, God bless you.

I sent my mother to this site after I read this blog on Mother’s Day. I loved it. I’m a mother now myself, so I remember all I put my parents through (and yes, I was manipulative, so I know to catch my kids in that same behavior!)
